I don’t know what it feels like to be 84. I don’t feel it. But I am.

People tell me I “don’t look it.”

They say, “You don’t look a day over 80.”

They’re being kind.

But, really, maybe, I don’t know.

I’ll get an inkling when I’m 85. In a few months.

Meanwhile, I’ll just be 84.
