“Become the person you were meant to be.”
That’s the kind of slick aphorism that motivational speakers on the circuit toss out from their bag of clichés, then take their fee and run to the bank.
They’re supposed to get you thinking, but they give you “the answer,” so you stop.
If there’s a person you were “meant to be,” why aren’t you?
