I see more clearly how things work.
Retirement has given me time.
My “Letter to the World” is an apology.
I’m sorry I didn’t do more.
I’m living in a time that has lost its center.
Cycles of fullness and fallow succeed each other. The strange contradiction that, in a crisis of Global Warming and the hottest temperatures on record (I’m sweating right now), the earth has frozen over.
But, beneath the surface, youth, young sprouts, are percolating, putting down roots, rising to the sun.
I am with them, young again, lifting my arms, raising my voice.
Hosanna! Halleluya! Amen!
