Yes, I’m tired of bad choices.

People tell me to choose “the lesser of two evils.” They say that’s “realpolitik.”

I want to be able to choose the “better of the good.”

I hate to cry in public.

I also get heartsick when people say they don’t like the choices and won’t choose
either. I want to tell them, because they seem not to realize it, that their boycotting the process can assure that the worst choice wins.

Compromise is what we have to live with reluctantly until we can get past it.
