Chaz told a funny story
made it up on the spot
when Kristina was checking the ant poison
to see if it was working
the little container on the floor
the ants swarming
loving it
telling all their ant friends
who came and ate and took it back
to the nest to share their last meal
and Chaz talked about
the big chocolate ant at work
left out for all the employees
who took it in to the office
and ate it
and died
and Kristina said
is that true?
and Chaz shrugged
and Kristina said, Dad,
you should put it in your blog
and I said I’d need Chaz’s permission
and Chaz shrugged

How lucky I am
to be living with them
as we all share chocolate
