I don’t know what planet
I’m from,
just not this one,
apparently.
That’s why
I don’t know how
To join in.
I did go
one time
to a big place
where a lot of people
were moshed together
hands arms raised
bouncing and swaying
and chanting together
for hours.
I tried a little
because I like people.
I raised my arms
and bounce wiggled
but couldn’t
keep it up
and went off
to the rest of life.
Came back
a week later
and they were
still there
moshing
didn’t notice
when I left
or came back.
