I remember
the restaurant
in Pasadena
Hastings Ranch Shopping Center
gone through many
transmogrifications
that time a Pizza Place
and the eager pizza guy
from Argentina
piled the meat so high
maybe four or five inches
and generously said
want more?
and piled it on
and we lugged it home
and sat in food heaven
but the place
went out of business
couldn’t afford
to keep it up
the pace they set
and I miss Argentina
though I’ve never been there yet
any other way
