I’m giving some good stuff to the blog.

But I’m torn.

Some of it I think could go

first to print,

then to blog.

Print has solidity,

and the printers have

their own audience

often bigger than mine.

I want my words

to reach more people.

But once they’re in blog,

they’re no longer eligible

for print which wants them first.

I try both ways,

print, then blog,

but it takes so long

for print to make up its mind,

and I’m not getting much younger,

and time isn’t infinite

for me,

so I’m torn.

But for now,

which is all anyone

can ever do,

I’ll keep on

trying both,

until at last

I have to shovel everything

I have left

somewhere,

probably blog,

as final archive.

But I’m still torn.
