I’m developing feelings
deep for my new home
a community together
which I need to feel a part of
and do and am
and Beautiful Blake Garden
like my own backyard but better
than mine could ever be
constantly surprising
like those Tuesday afternoon
musicians who gather
and play for free
and I can stay and sit
and listen until closing
and speaking of the Library
we weren’t but are now
I love the place
the staff who really are
all that you could hope for
and the comfort of books
all around and people
neighbor friendly
who come in to find a center
we can share
and just only down the street from me
and I can breathe the air
and see the Bay
and know that I am home
