I think about how I sometimes had to speak up and speak out, shy as I am, to join rallies and demonstrations and write articles and try to do what’s right, again and again. So I guess I’m not surprised to want to add a little more to the mix. I’ll dole it out, a little here, a little there, and then if the time is right I can say what I really think and feel. But for now, just a little bit:

“Mind for sale!” 
 “You come here often?” 
“Not recently…But you know, the way things are…” 
 “Yeah, yeah. So…got any scruples?” 
“Just a few. Nothing to write home about.” 
 “Oooh! Cliché! I like it.” 
“So how much?” 
 “Maybe enough for you. Maybe your family…” 
“How much?” 
 “Let’s see what you got.” 
“quaquaquaqua.” 
 “Oooh! A big one!” 
“How much?” 
 “Enough. Maybe get a slogan out of you, make it worth while…” 
“OK.” 
 “Shake on it.” 
“I want it in writing.” 
 “Well, OK, but you know these days that’s not even…” 
“In writing. With witnesses. Notarized. And back up video…” 
 “OK, but even that’s not…” 
“It’ll have to do.” 
 “Sign here. OK. Now, who’s next?”
