feel sympathy
feel pity
he’s so pitiable
must have had
a hard non-childhood
his father not
a full-fledged Nazi
growing up uneducated
his teachers trying to deny
he was ever in their class
and women he couldn’t distinguish
as not interchangeable
and people he didn’t notice
he was stepping on
and money
when you borrow
why pay back
and why should people vote
when he thinks there’s no one else
we know he has
a golden toilet
so he won’t rub off
when he sits in state
does he have a golden tub
for his blood bath
does he eat only burgers
because he has no taste
is he like nothing we’ve ever seen
but do we have to
I wish he could read
I wish he could stick to the subject
and know what it is
I hope he’s stopped
having children
I wish he’d want to provide
health care
when hospitals overflow
with people sick of him
or who have tried his cures
he’s not even successful
in convincing himself
he’s not inadequate
can’t even play golf
without cheating
doesn’t want to turn the cameras
to show his smaller audience
walking away early
