We were going to go out somewhere
because the rain has stopped
mostly
for now.
We’re on a vacation
and can do
whatever
we want.
Kristina is working on my book
of stories
to get it ready
while I’m still alive.
I keep encouraging
her to work on
her own writing
which she’s starting
to get back to
and she’s really good.
Chaz is over there
at his own computer
occupying himself
like a country.
He writes incredibly.
Sometimes I can too,
if only.
I’m actually ready
to go anywhere
wherever whenever.
Meanwhile,
I’m writing more
to not waste the time
I have left.
