My Daughter said, “Dad, let’s get you a body mike. They make them now with a camera so you can walk around and film what you see and talk about it, explain your take on things. You can even do retakes. I know how you like to talk. And talk. And… You could post it on your vlog and play it back so you can listen to yourself as much as you want. The possibilities are endless.”

I said, “I hope not.”

She said, “Why not?”

I said, “Because all good things come to an end, and I don’t want to yet.”

She said, “It’s not always about you.”

And I said, “Maybe. Maybe not. The end is in the beginning.”

She said, “Don’t keep talking about your end.”

I said, “That may turn out to be the best part of me, like a culmination.”

She said, “TV Nation? That’s Michael Moore.”

I said, “I thought we were talking about a mike.”

She said, “Mike went back home to Dunsmuir. He’s there already.”

I said, “He would.”

So she put in the order for a mike.
