Kristina Took us to the Redwood Valley Railway in Tilden Park near her house in Berkeley. Mike Wright, a good friend from Dunsmuir, was down visiting us, and he’s a big fan of trains, so this was a natural choice. We had a marvelous time riding the rails through the redwood trees and enjoying absolutely perfect weather. If you ever have a chance to ride this lovely little steam train, make sure you don’t miss out. The entire ride lasts about 12 minutes, but I’m sharing a shorter video of some of the nicest parts of the ride so you can get the idea.
