Thinking of scenarios, I thought of one that never happened, but could have, and maybe did.
Shirley and I went to the store separately looking for Valentine cards.
I found the best one, wrote my messages, drew my little drawings, and sealed it with a kiss.
We gave our cards to each other, opened them, and laughed. It was the same card. We had both chosen the best.
The cards were the same, even the little drawings we drew for each other were so similar they could have been by the same person.
The messages were similar but different. It was like the same card twice.
We laughed, and hugged and kissed for a very long time. That part is true.
