Heard on the street:

Stop using big words!
Like “oligarch.” That’s not an everyday word. Real people don’t talk like that.
When you talk like that, you rub our noses in your attitude. You’re a snob, you’re one of those college boys that have all the money and run everything.
You talk about “elites,” that’s another one, and when you talk like that, you are one.
You’re mad at me for not voting for you. What do you expect?
If you don’t talk to me, why should I listen to you?
You pretend there’s two sides and we should meet in the middle.
What the hell!
There’s right and there’s wrong. Are you saying we should be half right and half wrong?
That’s bull crap.
What I know is you’re all both on the same side. You like money and power.
You don’t care about me, and anybody who does, you stomp on.
You don’t know me and don’t wanna know me.
You gave me some words, like America, which used to mean something. Now you argue over the words.
You talk about things like “stock options.” Whaaat?
What I know is it’s getting worse.
Used to be government did what had to be done so we could live better.
What I know is I’m hungry and worry, how can I pay my bills? I can’t afford to get sick. I have to live somewhere.
You’re killing me.
You killed a million Americans by covid because you didn’t stop it when you could.
I may be ignorant, but I’m not stupid.
