That’s the magic number they celebrate on television when a series worries about its future. 100 means it can go into re-run syndication when the time comes, so they relax, take a deep breath, and start on the next hundred.

I just passed the magic 100 with yesterday’s blog. I’ll take a deep breath, but I won’t relax. I have a string of drafts lined up and waiting to be scheduled. I have a lot more hovering. And I can always write more. I haven’t exhausted the possibilities and I haven’t exhausted myself. I look forward to years, and that could add up to thousands of entries, blogs waiting to be born.

100 could also refer to age, my future age, and even then, if I make it that far, I’ll take a deep breath, and start on the next hundred.
