Dialog(ue)
I used to spell it dialogue when that was the correct spelling, before language simplified for the simpler user.
I also went to the library and used the card catalogue, before it simplified itself to catalog.
Now people don’t even go to the library, those libraries that are left, they stay home, sit at a keyboard and screen, or carry a phone, and type symbols to each other.
Those of us who remember troglodytes, are aware that they lived under ground. It’s like you’re already buried, living in your grave, and you never come out to see the sun, or even know it’s there.
