Henry VIII was that famous English King who is mostly remembered for being a fat pig who kept marrying different women and dumping them, for being unable to father adequate children, for bankrupting the country and spending lavish money he didn’t have on pageants in his honor, for making up a religion and putting himself as its head, for bullying into submission the government and the courts to let him get away with anything, for eating piles of greasy food, for ramping up corruption and leaving the country in a mess.
