Here’s a little something, because not everything I write or post or share has to be long or rambly or heavy-handed or intense. Sometimes it’s just OK to joke around, to make something sound real, but then, in this case, as in so many instances, there are ideas not quite hidden that spring out at you and by the end you have something to think about after all.

visited a chicken farm

saw where they’re developing

multi-wing chickens

looked funny

flapping around the yard

but they explained to me

it’s to meet the demand

chicken wings have supplanted

drumsticks which used to be

the favorite

the appendage of choice

I understood because I always

wanted thighs they’re

the dark meat juicier

they said science

breeds for need

and all our problems

will be solved by science

unless

of course

they won’t
