Today, Chaz Engan and Gary C Sterling and I celebrated the 62nd anniversary of my mom and dad’s marriage by going to Miceli’s Italian restaurant. We had wonderful food, song and music, toasting all the fond memories, hearing the stories of how they met, and how they had romantic dinners at this restaurant. The owner talked to us for nearly half an hour, sharing his own family memories and making the evening truly special. A wonderful way to remember an anniversary and honor my parents’ love for each other.
