Mother, Daughter,
bottled water.
“Did you bring the water, Mommy?”
“Yes, Daughter Honey,
in a bottle.”
“Goody! Yummy!
That’ll
throttle
the thirst.”
“Don’t drink ‘til you burst.
You durst
show restraint.”
“I am and I ain’t.
I won’t and I will.
I’ll just drink my fill.”
“Good for you,
just for that
you get dessert.”
“No, no, I desert.
I’m already too fat
and I’m getting bigger.
Gotta watch my little figger.”
“Just drink your water,
my Good Little Daughter.”
“Ok, just a jigger.
This is my childhood.
If I make it through,
I’ll grow up
just like you.”
“Aww.”
“Aww.”
Glug Glug.
