I can just see it now.

Trump at the funeral, elbowing the Cardinals out of the way, approaching the casket, placing the MAGA hat.

Then preempting the pulpit: “He was a Great Man, almost as Great as Me. He voted for me.”

Then the departure, leaving his smoke behind to choose the next Pope.
